    STACKIT Logs now supports pattern extraction

    We are excited to announce that STACKIT Logs now natively supports pattern extraction.

    This feature enables automatic grouping and clustering of unstructured log data into distinct visual patterns directly within Grafana, making it easier than ever to analyze high-volume log streams.

    When debugging or monitoring applications, logs can be overwhelming due to their sheer volume and repetitive nature. Pattern extraction automatically analyzes your incoming logs, identifies common structures, and groups them. This enables you to:

    • Spot recurring trends: Identify which error or warning messages are occurring most frequently.
    • Reduce noise: Filter out repetitive log lines to concentrate on unique, anomalous events.
    • Simplify querying: Gain high-level insights into your log distributions without writing complex query logic.
    • Zero Configuration: Pattern extraction is enabled automatically for all STACKIT Logs instances. No setup or configuration is required on your side.
    • No Extra Cost: This feature is fully integrated into the service and comes at no additional cost.
    • Native Grafana Integration: You can start using the Pattern tab in Grafana’s Drilldown view for logs with your STACKIT Logs instances immediately.

    STACKIT AI Model Serving: New Model Release Google Gemma 4 (Replacement for Google Gemma 3)

    We are excited to announce that we are upgrading our model lineup by introducing google/gemma-4-31B-it, which will serve as the successor to our current Google-Gemma offerings.

    Gemma 4 models are multimodal, handling text and image input and generating text output. Gemma 4 features a context window of up to 256K tokens and maintains multilingual support in over 140 languages. Gemma 4 models are well-suited for a variety of text generation and image understanding tasks, including question answering, summarization, and reasoning. The large context window of 256K and the improved reasoning capabilities make this model particularly well-suited to agent-based workflows.

    As part of this transition, we are officially deprecating the following model:

    • google/gemma-3-27b-it

    We kindly ask all customers to migrate their workloads to the new model google/gemma-4-31B-it before 14 October 2026.

    Deprecation of SQLServer Flex-API V2 and SQLServer Flex-API v3alpha1 and SQLServer Flex-API v3alpha2

    SQLServer Flex-API V2 and SQLServer Flex-API v3alpha1 and SQLServer Flex-API v3alpha2 is being deprecated and will be removed after 1 Juli 2027. If you are still using one of the mentioned APIs we advise you to migrate to SQLServer Flex-API V3. SQLServer Flex-API V3 includes small changes and fixes to enhance the usability of the API and will enable you to create SQLServer resources in all available STACKIT regions.

    It is a stable release and offers the same or similar endpoints and functionality as the mentioned APIs before. For more information visit the API documentation of SQL Server Flex.
